In January 2026, I entered a map in the Women in GIS 2026 map contest. I created the 22″x34″ map using ArcGIS Pro, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign and added flamingo graphics from Adobe Stock.

I also created an interactive version of the map in ArcGIS Online StoryMaps.

In the next step of this project, I am working on ideas for developing a textile art book for submission to SAQA’s Sensational show.
